Crystal has a great variety of temperatures and pool styles. Staff is fairly friendly, and prices are reasonable for both admission and munchies/beverages. The only downside is the customers themselves. The pools are often extremely crowded, and storage space for clothing or valuables is limited. Double the amount of small hot tubs would likely be a more appropriate amount of hot water. Overall, great for a soak year round.

drove to there today. I checked online and it said it was open. I called and no one answered the phone. It takes an hour to drive there to find out it is closed. Completely Closed. There were no signs out to say why. There was no message on the phone to say anything at all. I think it would be nice if they could figure out a system to let the public know that they won't be opened so we don't wast our time getting there.

It is a nice semi-local secret. A decent place to relax and some people take their kids, but I choose not too. It gets a little crowded and it doesn't seem that cleanliness is a major priority, but it's not a dump either - it could just be maintained a little bit better - i.e. no bugs or leaves in the water, and dressing room doors that lock in the locker rooms. If you're looking for more of a spa experience then drive about an hour further north to Idaho and go to Lava Hot Springs.

I grew up going to Crystal Hot Spring and this place has become a really nice place to go. The pools are fairly warm so my favorite time to go is when the weather is chilly. I have never camped there, but they do have camping so if you have a camper you can make it a weekend trip.

Can't wait for the remodeling to be done because it is looking so good already. Love this place. It is very affordable for having the HIGHEST mineral content in the world, which you can definitely tell notice just by the way you feel after soaking in the hot spring water. The slides are a blast. The only downside are those small old locker rooms but not for too long since the remodeling will be finished in no time.
